Awards for All is a Big Lottery Fund programme for community projects. It is open to voluntary groups, charities, parish or town councils, schools and health bodies. Organisations in England can apply for between 300 and 10,000 for a specific project or activity. That might be running a creche for families in a rural area, refurbishing a community space or organising an event to promote healthy eating and exercise. Grants can go towards a variety of expenses including paying sessional staff, hiring equipment and buying educational toys and games. Applications can be made at any time. There are separate schemes for Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
