If I were in charge of ... Haringey

If I were in charge of my borough of Haringey, I would improve its recycling. I would give the council ideas for other things that they could recycle, such as wax cartons.

Also, I would raise as much money as I could through creating a council charity where people donate money and bring in things like clothes and toys which they don't want anymore. This would raise money so that all schools would have better resources such as more art, maths and literacy equipment.

Many people might ask how you could do that, but I have come up with a solution. If you did not leave lights and cookers on or leave taps running, you would save energy and your bills would not be so high, then you would have enough money to donate to the council. Also, it would mean that you could help save the environment.
