There are facilities in Tower Hamlets but they come at a cost that many can't afford to pay. There is also a lot of crime and injustice caused by young people and I feel the main reason for this is because young people get bored quickly and tend to turn to criminal activities to cure their boredom.
Currently I am working for an organisation called City Gateway, whose intention is to get young people off the streets and get them doing something positive with their lives to get out their full potential. I feel there are not a lot of youth clubs in the area. In the last year, City Gateway started to run a centre called Limehouse Youth Club. Hundreds of young people have been coming to the club regularly and have gained a lot in terms of life experiences, meeting new people and being surrounded by people who care about them.
