Heritage funder celebrates 15 years

Youth Work
The Heritage Lottery Fund is marking its 15th anniversary with a series of events highlighting its impact on children and young people.

A showcase event in Belfast on 3 October will involve performances and exhibitions of heritage projects run by young people, and on 8 December a special screening will be held at Newcastle's Tyneside Cinema to highlight the work of 15 of the region's top heritage projects with young people.

Jo Reilly, head of participation and learning at the fund, said that programmes such as Young Roots had enabled around 50,000 young people to explore their heritage and make an impact in their communities.
