Funding for projects that help people learn about their own and others' heritage

What is it? Heritage Grants provides funding to projects that promote and preserve the national, regional or local heritage of the UK. Projects should help people learn about their own and others' heritage and encourage a wide range of people to take part in heritage activities.

How much is on offer? The programme offers grants of more than £50,000. The grant request should be a combined total of the development and delivery costs of the project. Applications are split into three bands: grants of between £50,000 and £1m, grants of between £1m and £5m, and grants that are more than £5m.

What will it fund? Funding is available for any project that involves heritage, so it is an ideal opportunity for organisations to develop a programme for young people to explore their heritage.
