Help Yourselves Awards

1 min read
What it is: Save the Children and British Gas created the Help Yourselves small grants scheme to fund projects that make a difference to young people's lives and communities.

How much is on offer: Grants of up to £1,000 are available. There are more than 20 grants on offer in the current round of funding, which will close on 28 March.

What it will fund: The Help Yourselves Awards will fund projects that have a positive impact on the circumstances and experiences of children and young people up to the age of 18. Schemes should be strongly young-person led, improve young people's life choices and benefit vulnerable and disadvantaged groups. The awards can only fund activities that take place in Britain.

Who can apply: Groups of children and young people up to the age of 18 and organisations that work with this age group are eligible to apply for an award. Those applying on behalf of an organisation must involve children and young people in the planning and delivery of any project.
