Created by Save the Children and British Gas, Here to HELP awards fund community projects for children and young people, focusing on disadvantaged groups. Most are up to 1,000 with a small number up to 3,000. Projects should cover health, education or child protection. They must be led by young people or come from organisations keen to involve young people.
Schools, youth clubs, charities and other organisations havesuccessfully gained funding. Applications for the latest round are dueby 23 March and can be completed online. Previous award winners includea playground buddy scheme at a junior school and a film made by childrenattending an after-school club.
