Started in 1984, this national charity aims to help parents of children with disabilities or special educational needs feel more included and involved in everyday school and community life.

The organisation provides a helpline and training for parents andprofessionals, which is run by parents and disability equalitytrainers.

Also on offer is a range of information leaflets and flyers, which areavailable from the charity's web site. And it produces other materialsincluding books, audio tapes, and a magazine called Inclusion Now aswell as reports on inclusion.

Its most recent report looked at how institutional racism anddiscrimination affects the life chances for disabled children. Thecharity also runs inclusion groups to support parents with disabledchildren.
