Help from: Life Education Centres

Life Education Centres aims to promote best practice in health education by working with schools and involving members of the community.

The charity, based on an Australian concept, delivers education programmes to children and young people aged three to 15 in mobile classrooms.

They are equipped with high-tech audio-visual props.

Each of its 65 classrooms is owned, run, and managed by local groups as community involvement and engaging with parents and carers is a key part of the Life Education Centres' philosophy.

The charity produces a range of resources, including help for schools to meet National Curriculum requirements for health education and government guidelines on drug education.
