The National Youth Advocacy Service is a charity that gives information, advice, advocacy and legal representation to people under 25 who need help in having their wishes heard.

Its legal team represents children with problems such as homelessness orleaving care.

Support can also be given to young parents who need advice on theirrights and children seeking asylum can get similar support.

The charity has a free 24-hour helpline and text messaging service.There is also a centre where there can be supervised contact forchildren and families.

The charity produces a quarterly journal for all professionals on therights and welfare of young people. It also offers advocacytraining.
