Teignbridge - 5% of live births weighed less than 2,500 grams in 2004 (7.6 per cent in England)
Between 2003 and 2004, the percentage of live births weighing less than 2,500 grams increased by 1.5 per cent in Luton, while in Preston this figure decreased by 1.2 per cent. In Teignbridge the percentage decreased by 0.9, compared with an average fall of one per cent across England.
