The percentage of live births that weighed less than 2,500 grams in Chester went up by 0.3 to 6.5 per cent between 2003 and 2004. During the same time period in Bromsgrove the percentage went up by 0.2 to seven per cent, while in Gosport it increased by 0.1 to 8.3 per cent. Source: Office for National Statistics.
