Sefton - 7.5% of live births weighed less than 2,500 grams in 2004 (7.6 per cent in England)

Worcester - 8.1% of live births weighed less than 2,500 grams in 2004 (7.6 per cent in England)

Wealden - 6.1% of live births weighed less than 2,500 grams in 2004 (7.6 per cent in England)

The percentage of live births that weighed less than 2,500 grams in Sefton went down by 0.5 to 7.5 per cent between 2003 and 2004. During the same time period in Worcester the percentage went up by 0.7 per cent to 8.1, while in Wealden it decreased by 1.2 per cent to 6.1.
