RUGBY - 8.3% of live births weighed less than 2,500 grams in 2004 (7.6 per cent in England)

SOUTH RIBBLE - 6.4% of live births weighed less than 2,500 grams in 2004 (7.6 per cent in England)

The percentage of live births weighing less than 2,500 grams in South Ribble fell by 0.7 between 2004 and 2003. In Rugby the percentage remained at 8.3 per cent, while in Great Yarmouth it increased by 0.6 per cent between 2003 and 2004.
