Sunderland - 9.4 infant deaths under one week per 1,000 women in 2005 (five in England)

Warwick - 5.6 infant deaths under one week per 1,000 women in 2005 (five in England)

Exeter - 9.5 infant deaths under one week per 1,000 women in 2005 (five in England)

In Sunderland the number of infant deaths has gone down by seven since 2004 to 29 while in Warwick it has decreased by one to eight deaths. But in Exeter the number of infant deaths has increased by three to 12. Across England infants deaths fell by 184 between 2004 and 2005.
