Closer working between health and social care services is needed to promote a more positive image of teenage fathers, according to research on young Black and ethnic minority parents.

Researchers from the University of Sheffield found young men were atparticular risk of being marginalised during antenatal education.

They said that health professionals can focus on the young woman, whichcould deter the young man from making future visits.
