Health News: Sport - Roadshows to get children active

A series of national roadshows is to kick off a campaign that aims to create a permanent legacy of partnerships to encourage young people to do more sport.

The Youth Active B Active campaign, developed by Youth Active and fundedby Sport England until 2008, is encouraging young people between eightto 25 to do more physical activity.

Following feedback from young people, the nine roadshows will offertaster sessions in activities such as trampolining and skateboarding, aswell as more conventional activities like football, supported bywell-known sporting figures.
