36.2 conceptions per 1,000 girls under 18 in 2003 (42.1 in England) Slough's rate of teenage conception is higher than average for the south east, according to Slough Primary Care Trust's public health report for 2003. Programmes to address this include an audit of contraception services through sexual health services and GP surgeries to find out how confident young people were in using services. The trust's sexual health service has also developed a web site.
