Statistics published this week showed the rate of conceptions hasdropped by nine per cent since figures on the Teenage Pregnancy Strategywere first collected in 1998. However, figures are up 2.4 per cent fromlast year when the rate hit its lowest point so far of 29.1 per cent.The change represents a difference of 15 conceptions, from 174 in 2003to 189 in 2004.
