The rate of teenage conception has dropped only slightly in Camden. In2003 there were 135 conceptions in girls under 18, compared to 136 in1998, the year the borough's teenage pregnancy strategy began. Camden'steenage pregnancy strategy aims to reduce rates by focusingcontraceptive services on particular groups, such as boys and childrennot in mainstream education, and increasing sex and relationshipseducation.
