49% of conceptions in girls under 18 were terminated in 2001 (44 per cent in England & Wales)
37.6 conceptions per 1,000 girls aged 15-17 in 2001 (43.8 in England & Wales)
Alison Smith, GP and professional and executive committee chair for Adur, Arun and Worthing Teaching PCT, said: "We would like to see all parents have their children immunised against MMR. Our health visitors, community staff and GP practice staff have worked hard to bring the MMR message to parents."
