Public sector and voluntary organisations will be able to apply forgrants of between 250,000 and 500,000 from the Way of Lifeprogramme.
The fund is aimed at under-12s and their families. It will support threemodels: evaluating the best ways of boosting health through mentoringchildren; giving advice in home or community settings; and raisingawareness of health issues by linking relevant events.
Consultants Hall Aitken will help applicants identify what model theyshould use. Adam Clarke, project director for the programme at HallAitken, said: "The models will provide a framework for the project."
Applicants should contact Hall Aitken by 28 September. The applicationdeadline is 16 November.
