The conception rate in the London borough has barely changed sincefigures were first collected for the strategy in 1998, increasingslightly by 0.2 per cent. The increase represents 19 more girlsconceiving. In 1998, 227 girls fell pregnant but in 2005 this numberrose to 246. Initiatives have included a sexual health outreach projectrun from a bus, offering advice, condoms and pregnancy testing.
