The conception rate in the county has fallen by over a third sincefigures were first collected in 1998. The drop represents 38 fewer girlsconceiving. In 1998, 185 girls fell pregnant but in 2005 this numberdropped to 147. In November 2006, the Commission for Social CareInspection and Ofsted said: "There are highly effective servicesproviding advice on contraception and sexual health."
