The 10 projects include the Childcare Access programme run by One Plus:One Parent Families, which provides childcare for parents in a deprivedarea of Glasgow so that they can attend counselling or parentingclasses.
It received 80,000.
Children's charity NCH Scotland got 139,000 for out-of-schoolworkers to support 32 children. The Scottish Childminding Associationgot 87,000 for a development worker to help parents to findemergency childcare, and recruit and train childminders.
A community nursery in North Uist got 58,000 to set up anafter-school club and Gaelic pre-school education.
A group of out-of-school clubs in East Renfrewshire got almost 24,000 to put on therapeutic play activities for 1,000 children. Thegrant, to the East Renfrewshire Out of School Network, will hire staffand pay for equipment. The activities are designed to help children whomay find play difficult - such as those with autism or with troubledhome lives - but are open to all children.
