The grants from the fund's New Opportunities for PE and Sport programme will be used for the improvement of sports pitches, changing rooms and equipment, and the building of new indoor and outdoor facilities.
Schools in London will share more than 12m, with Eltham Green School in Greenwich getting 2m to build a new state-of-the-art sports hall.
Young people in Surrey will benefit from an award of just under 800,000, which will be used to build accommodation at High Ashurst Outdoor Education Centre in the North Downs near Dorking. Around 12,400 young people are expected to use the facility each year.
In Lancashire a grant of more than 1.7m will go towards a new four-court sports hall including dance studio and changing rooms at Wellfield High School in Leyland.
