The money will allow Falkirk-based Creche Matters! to update itspremises and expand provision, which will mean its base can be broughtin line with Care Commission standards. It will also allow an expansionof its mobile creche service.
Another beneficiary from the funding round is Inverclyde-basedEnterprise Childcare, which was given more than 76,000 to revampits premises.
These awards were made under the investment fund strand of the 18m Futurebuilders Scotland programme for voluntary and community socialenterprises, which is managed by Communities Scotland.
Established medium or large service providers can apply for grant of upto 500,000. The programme also offers "seedcorn" funding of up to50,000 for organisations wanting to develop new areas of work,plus a learning fund to develop business and financial skills and grantsfor support infrastructure.
