Catz Club, which runs after-school, breakfast and holiday clubs, is one of 23 organisations to share more than 8m from Futurebuilders England.
The organisation aims to develop a nationwide network of clubs by 2007 with the 2m.
The second round of investments from Futurebuilders was announced last week, with more expected during the summer.
Croxteth Community Trust in Liverpool will receive just over 1m to transform a former church into a centre offering courses to 14- to 19-year-olds.
Rochdale Connections Trust will get a 10,000 grant to pilot online support services for disaffected and excluded young people.
And the Love and Joy Ministries Group will receive 6,000 to expand its supported housing project for young people leaving care in Liverpool.
