The Carnegie UK Trust, which supports projects that encourage young people to take an active part in their communities, has more than 100,000 to award.
Applications are being sought from local and national groups, which can bid up to 30,000 over three years. In exceptional circumstances, the trust will consider awarding 20,000 a year for three years.
With 18 months of funding remaining, the trust has placed an emphasis on innovation. In particular, it is looking for projects that look at ways of embedding youth participation into everyday practice and work with disadvantaged young people.
Grants officer Mahpara Thompson said: "We want to show the impact participation can have on the quality of decision-making processes. By involving young people in a meaningful way, there are better outcomes for everyone."
