What is it? vInspired's cashpoint scheme is designed to help young people run social action projects.
Once the funding is signed off, young people are allowed to run the project the way they want to. Funding will be considered for volunteering projects that have a clear benefit for other people, such as to the community where the young person lives, or a group of people that the young person wants to help. The project should be a new idea or something that the young person has tried and would like to do differently.
How much is available? Grants of up to £500 are on offer. Previous projects have included football sessions for young people in Tower Hamlets to help them develop their skills and work as a team.
