Funding Watch: Enterprise Challenge Grant Scheme

1 min read

What is it? The Enterprise Challenge Grant Scheme is administered by UK Youth and is supported by international accounting firm Mazars. The grant scheme aims to improve young people's entrepreneurial skills and promote their involvement in enterprising activities across the UK.

How much is on offer? Grants of up to £250 are on offer. Successful projects will also receive support from UK Youth to develop their enterprise programme idea, and from Mazars, through its e-mentoring programme. UK Youth expects to award 46 grants in total.

What will it fund? Projects based on interests and ideas of young people which seek to develop young people's enterprising skills. It is hoped this will have a positive effect on young people's lives, by improving self-esteem and assisting personal and social development. To be considered for funding, projects must also contribute positively to the local community.
