What is it? The Big Lottery Fund's Awards for All grant scheme was set up to improve local communities and help people most in need across the UK. Previous grants have helped to fund children's creative workshops, holidays for youth groups and inter-generational projects.
How much is on offer? Grants of between £300 and £10,000 are available and organisations will need to submit their application at least three months before their planned project will begin. An end-of-grant report will also need to be submitted, in which the successful project will show how it has spent the money and the outcomes achieved.
What will it fund? Organisations that improve people's life chances by offering training and development of life skills; projects that encourage more citizens to be active and communities to work together to address problems; and schemes that improve local rural and urban environments.
