Funding Watch: Fund for exploited young people

1 min read

What is it? The Comic Relief Fund for Sexually Exploited and Trafficked Young People provides grants to organisations working to reduce the harm caused to young people who have been or are at risk of being trafficked or sexually exploited. It is especially interested in funding projects that help young people to escape from prostitution.

How much is on offer? Funds provided are usually between £25,000 and £40,000. Once a grant is awarded, Comic Relief will require regular progress updates and evaluation evidence on work carried out as a result of funding.

What will it fund? Organisations that can prove their work will reduce the number of young people being sexually exploited or trafficked; projects that provide support for at-risk young people; and interventions that will give exploited young people the ability to make positive choices.
