What is it? Social housing organisation Affinity Sutton provides more than 55,000 affordable homes in England. Its community grants programme supports work that improves the lives of those living in Affinity Sutton housing areas in London, the South East, the South West and the North.
How much is on offer? Grants of between £300 and £5,000 that can be used to cover any project-related costs. The grant fund is managed by the Capital Community Foundation, and grant recipients must spend the funds within 12 months. Organisations who work together to deliver community activities are able to apply for a joint grant.
What will it fund? To be considered for a grant, projects must do one of the following: provide positive activities for young people; offer support for children and families; promote estate regeneration and encourage environmental awareness; promote health, wellbeing and community safety; support community cohesion and engagement; or encourage equality and diversity.
