The site, www.government funding.org.uk, has gone live after a month-long pilot. It will give access to 182m of Government funds from the Department for Education and Skills, Department of Health, Home Office and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister.
Susanne Rauprich, chief executive of the National Council for Voluntary Youth Services, welcomed the launch, but said more would have to be done to make the funding system truly accessible.
She said: "We would like to see measures such as the sharing of relevant information on organisations between different departments, to simplify the application process."
