NCB Now: Forum unveils its new look web site

1 min read
The Sex Education Forum, which is based at NCB, has launched a new look web site offering the latest information on sex and relationships education and related guidance.

The web site, designed for forum members and anyone with a professional or academic interest in sex education, features briefings on issues such as abstinence only education and the end of Section 28.

A new "frequently asked questions" section provides advice on common queries such as, "What is the legal position about teaching contraception in schools?" and "How can I tackle homophobia in my school?".

"The new web site streamlines the wealth of information offered by the forum, allowing users to find answers to their questions at a glance," said Anna Martinez, co-ordinator, Sex Education Forum. "Links to forum members' web sites also mean we can point site visitors in the right direction for more detailed information."
