NCB Now: Council for Disabled Children web site

The Council for Disabled Children, which is based at NCB, has launched a new-look web site offering information on projects and publications as well as downloadable factsheets and resources.

The web site is designed for those with an interest in policy and practice issues concerning disabled children and special educational needs.

Visitors to the site are now able to view the council's response to Government consultations on issues such as the Draft Disability Bill.

"The web site provides an excellent way to keep up-to-date with developments in the sector," said Kate Williams, information officer at the council.

"We are now working to make the site more accessible to disabled children and young people and are keen to receive suggestions on how we might achieve this."

The site also contains information on the National Parent Partnership Network and the Special Educational Consortium, both of which are based at the council.
