Funding: Diana Fund calls for grant applications

The theme of this year's UK grants programme is "the transition to adulthood and independence". The organisation is particularly keen to support projects working with young people who may struggle with the transition to maturity. These could include young refugees and asylum seekers, young people with mental health problems and those with parents who are in prison.

The fund will give annual grants of between 15,000 and 80,000 for up to three years.

A spokeswoman could not pinpoint the exact value of the total amount available or how many projects would be supported. But the organisation has uncommitted reserves of about 32m. All the money will be allocated for projects.
