I've been a Young UK Ambassador since January; there are three of us altogether to represent Scotland.

I've also been part of the Scottish Youth Parliament for two years and I help on the local youth council.

On the Scottish Youth Parliament I've been involved in health campaigning and I've tried to make sure young people all have equal access to healthcare and free prescriptions. As part of my ambassador work I recently went to Brussels for a health committee with other young people from all over Europe. We discussed issues such as alcohol and drug use. It was great to meet others who were interested in health issues and who really wanted to make a difference.
