Faith: Methodists to target under-25s

The Methodist Association of Youth Clubs is developing the strategy, to encourage more young people into the Church.

Thirty-four thousand 13- to 19-year-olds attend the church, but there has been a 55 per cent decline in under-25s joining since 1986.

Mike Seaton, national youth secretary for the association, said: "We are we putting young people at the heart of our curriculum."
