Faith-based work: Christians push for Olympics activities

John Baxter-Brown, executive officer at Churches Together in England, said: "We want churches to further develop sports-based work as part of a healthy living strategy and to take a more holistic approach to helping young people."

The non-denominational faith body will meet Christian youth work groups, such as Youth For Christ, in October to see how churches can link with the community for Olympic activities.
