The European Portfolio for youth leaders and youth workers gives guidelines to help youth workers describe their competencies, and aims to help youth workers set their learning and development goals.
While the portfolio is aimed especially at European countries where youth work is undervalued or unstructured, the guide is also intended to help volunteer youth workers, in particular, assess their skills and develop quality standards.
