Opposition Labour councillors have pledged to fight a deal that will seethe council lose control of the Colomendy Outdoor Pursuits Centre inNorth Wales. They claim the plans will lead to price hikes, preventingthe poorest children from going on school trips there in peakseason.
Labour leader Joe Anderson said: "The council is virtually selling offone of the jewels in its crown. The poorest children in Liverpool willonly have the leftovers at Colomendy, with the peak period hogged bychildren of the wealthy."
