Set up last year, the National Leaders in Education programme involveshead teachers from successful schools supporting those fromunderperforming schools. There are currently 45 heads involved but theNational College for School Leadership-run programme is now aiming toboost numbers.
Barry Day, head of Greenwood Dale School in Nottingham and programmemember, said: "It's about looking at current practice and talking abouthow it can be adapted."
