A spokesman for the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham said: "Our GCSE results are the second best in inner London, with more than 51 per cent of pupils gaining five or more good passes. Our primary schools achieved the fourth best score nationally for the progress pupils make between seven and 11. We are also one of 35 authorities to be chosen to form a pathfinder to provide greater integration of services for vulnerable children." Source: Department for Education and Skills.
