The centre, which will work with 14- to 19-year-olds, was designed in consultation with local young people. It was built by private company Prospects with funding from the local authority.
Jules Pipe, the Mayor of Hackney, said the centre would be invaluable. "It offers an important service for young people, giving them advice and help on a range of things, whether it's practical support to get a job or training or confidential advice on more personal issues."
