COMMUNITY: South London school gets national prize

Last week the school received the Make a Connection school prize, which is awarded by The Children and Youth Partnership Foundation, a grant-giving organisation that supports existing projects for children and young people, particularly those at risk.

Bishopsford was recognised for its attitudes towards learning and the community.

Mobile phone firm Nokia supports the programme, which helps young people become "active, positive participants in their community".
