Members of ConfEd, the Association of Directors of Social Services(ADSS) and the Association of Directors of Education and Children'sServices have agreed to explore how to combine their organisations.
The most likely model will be to turn the three associations into twonew ones, one representing children's services directors and another toact as a voice for directors of adult services. It is envisaged that thenew organisations would maintain links.
