Too often you pick up a newspaper or turn on the TV and there's a story about teenagers involved in violence, knives or guns, and too often the perceptions of young adults are often swayed to the negatives rather that the positives.

There are so many students who care about their education, their future and strive to achieve great things. Yet these stories are often forgotten about and cast aside.

I hope that one day I will own my own company and have a beautiful family. Thanks to Career Academies UK, I am on my way to making my dreams a reality, through internships with Hello! magazine and on the X Factor.

Being young does not make us stupid. It makes us have new ways of thinking. After all, life is not just about knowing the answers but about caring enough about a subject to research and understand it and to bring a new answer to the table.
