Campbell stands out among the grey-haired heads in the chamber of Lyme Regis Town Council. At 22, she is thought to be the youngest person ever to be elected on to the 16-strong council."A few people said: you can't be a councillor; you're not old enough," she recalls. "It was really scary because I'm completely inexperienced at this sort of thing."
But Campbell soon found her voice. On the agenda of her first meeting was a plan by InSPARation Youth Cafe to hold a fundraising event for a new skatepark. As one of the people involved in setting up the cafe, Campbell found herself the authority on the subject. The item was agreed.
